Product
Overview |
Recombinant Vamp5 protein was
expressed in E.coli and purified by conventional
chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion
bodies in a renaturation buffer. MW =
12.7 kDa
(109 aa). |
|
Description |
VAMP5, also
known as vesicle-associated membrane protein 5, is a member
of the synaptobrevin family and the SNARE superfamily. VAMP5
is the main components of a protein complex involved in the
docking and/or fusion of vesicles and cell membranes. This
protein may participate in a trafficking events that is
associated with myogenesis, such as myoblast fusion and/or
GLUT4 trafficking. |
