VAMP4-484H |
|
Product
Overview |
Recombinant
human VAMP4 protein, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was
expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional
chromatography. MW = 14.5 kDa (123aa). |
|
Description |
VAMP4, also
known as vesicle-associated membrane protein 4, is a member of
the synaptobrevin family involved in docking and/or fusion of
vesicles with cell membrane. This protein is enriched in the
trans-Golgi network and may play a role in trans-Golgi
network-to-endosome transport. VAMP4 is involved in the pathway
that functions to remove an inhibitor (probably synaptotagmin-4)
of calcium-triggered exocytosis during the maturation of
secretory granules. |
